• The fallout of X-MEN: BATTLE OF THE ATOM continues!
• X-23 is back and kissing... WHO IS THE MYSTERY MAN??!
Bendis character-building in the issue was well done and was very entertaining. The art team did just a great job putting this issue together. This series continues to be one of the top current X-men series. The stories are driven and entertaining that you'll never put it down. This issue keeps delivering and it is a must read. My top pick this week. Read Full Review
Where the story goes from here remains to be seen, though the cover may provide the biggest hint of things to come. With X-23 joining the X-Men ranks, the X-Universe has added another great character to its ongoing story, and it's an addition that adds intrigue to go along with that teenage drama. Read Full Review
Overall, All-New X-Men is one of my favorite books going and rather than have ill effects on that opinion, this issue and the additions of X-23 and the Purifiers has only served to reinforce and increase my enjoyment of this title. Read Full Review
There's not a lot of deep thought going on here - just straightforward action in the typical Marvel fashion. Nothing wrong with that! Read Full Review
Despite some minor flaws with the art, this is an excellent issue and if X-23 stays with the team, thats even better. Bendis continues to make this a must read every month and still keeps it fresh and surprising. While this isnt the flagship X-title, there is a very strong possibility that it could be sometime in the not too distant future. Read Full Review
Artists Mahmud Asrar and Brandon Peterson spilt art duties and it's generally seamless except when it comes to Jean Grey. She looks like two completely different people depending on which artist is drawing her. I like seeing the characters in action with their new costumes. The new digs are certainly more interesting to look at than black and yellow leather jackets. Although, X-23 gets a new costume, too. Does this make her part of the team? Or did Magik just want to get some more practice with her new fashion power? Read Full Review
This comic's story feels like it's going through the motions, and despite the smooch-tastic cover, even the introduction of X-23 isn't adding much to All-New X-Men. Read Full Review
The All-New X-Men might just be getting used to their new situation with Cyclops' team of mutants but things are about to change in big ways. X-23 being thrown into the mix could spice things up and battle the Purifiers never is a good thing for the team. Brian Michael Bendis balances some slightly dark moments with the humor we've grown to love. The use of two different artists unfortunately makes the flow of the story a little jarring. We have a young team of X-Men and we'll see if they're ready to take on this latest incarnation of the Purifiers. Read Full Review
What this boils down to is my second favorite X-Men title has fallen to at least third place if not further. I'm not sure what it is about this story line that isn't doing it for me. Maybe it's just The Purifiers that aren't working for me but as this story line is only another issue or two I'm not too worried. I still like the concept and Bendis you've been doing so well keeping me interested in this concept, don't fail me now! Read Full Review
This whole arc is shaping up to be skippable. Not a very compelling story of the X-Men, but it might bring fans in to see X-23 in action. This is made even more disappointing considering we know how well this creative team can do. It's not like I'm going to be dropping All-New X-Men anytime soon, I'm just not enjoying it all that much. So there was a slight fumble when it came to any budding relationship between Cyclops and X-23, but at least their talk was the same solid characterization we've come to expect from this series. Read Full Review
One of the clickbaitiest covers they made in the past 15 years. Still, fine issue.
Some nice artwork here, pretty boring script though.
