If you've been reading the book, you'll love this. No doubt about it. This seems to be a great set-up for the upcoming Shadowland mini-series, so if you're interested in that, this would be a good book to pick up... This and the couple issues prior to it. I'm sure if I was following the book, it easily would have gotten 5/5. Read Full Review

Visually, although the artist is not the same, the colouring helps create the same mood of lush red blues that has pervaded this series since the new team took over. However, things may be a bit too dark in places. The mix of snow and blood looks great though. Read Full Review

Ultimately, Diggle and Johnston provide a satisfying, if somewhat anticlimactic, conclusion to the most recent Daredevil story arc. It's clear that the writer's are prepared to take the character to new and interesting places and with Shadowland on the horizon it looks like readers won't have long to wait. Read Full Review

I'm not sure where this arc is going after reading this issue, but it's slipping its grip on Matt's usual reality, and doing it with criminal mysticism rather than the usual amount of religious angst. Hopefully, he'll get his head on straight before it's too late. Read Full Review

The Weekly Crisis - Ryan K Lindsay Jun 14, 2010

You can pick up this issue to keep abreast of where Daredevil is right now, or you can read this article. Whichever tickles your fancy really, but in the end Shadowland starts next month and it seems like this event should be pretty interesting and relatively reader friendly for just about anyone to come and all they need to know is that Daredevil now leads the Hand. Other than that, you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the show. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Greg McElhatton Jun 14, 2010

Hopefully "Shadowland" will finally consistently see "Daredevil" knock it out of the park; right now its variable nature keeps it from being a core player. I'm also a little worried that readers might get Daredevil fatigue with all of the tie-in material later this summer connected to "Shadowland," but we'll see how those turn out. There's at least enough different creative personnel involved that it could end up being fun. For now, I'm cautiously optimistic about "Shadowland." I wish I was super-excited instead, though.
