Either way. Whatever happens. I'm sticking with this until Marvel decide to end the ongoing. But it would be great to actually advance the story forward so new fans can see what happens between films as well as events that happen in post Return of the Jedi. Maybe show us how the First Order came to be. Read Full Review

After giving some previous issues some pretty low scores, I couldn't be happier with how this series ended. Greg Pak took a big chance with Star Wars canon and it worked wonderfully! Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Nov 26, 2019

With most storylines wrapping up in six issues, this one did it in eight and it most definitely overstayed its welcome. Frankly, if this had been the last issue to be made then it would have been a sign of lack of creativity in working in this universe of stories. It's just mediocre at best in what it does and it was done in a really drawn out and expanded way that didn't add much of anything new at all. I have hopes with the next series and a renewed sense about it because it's easy to understand why as a series draws down you end up with some creative roadblocks. The result is this storyline that felt padded to reach seventy-five and that didn't have a whole lot to say. I've really enjoyed this run overall and am glad to have been along for the ride. While this Star Wars title has delivered some of the best comic stories in the new canon to audiences, it's also been a mixed bag of excitement, with this final installment reflecting those frustrating elements with a lackluster conclusion. Read Full Review

I think Pak has a lot of potential as a writer and I am excited to see his work on the next Darth Vader run, even if I am tired of Vader comics. Not all of my problems but probably a number of my bigger ones with this arc probably come more from circumstances outside of his control. We're seeing our first previews of Soule's Star Wars run now and it's looking really good. I'm going to miss Han but I expect a lot from that series. Can't wait to read the first issue in a few weeks! Read Full Review
