Andy Park turns in a pretty impressive effort, as while the work doesn't really jump off the page, it tells the story in a clear, and at times, highly visually exciting manner. I mean if nothing else the opening page of Bishop standing over the downed bodies of the X-Men got the issue off to a powerful start, with the scene where Nightcrawler confronts Bishop being a great little sequence. There's also a nice scene where we see Selene pays a visit on a woman who has taken an interest in Rachel, that perfectly captures the character's vampire leanings. There's also a nice establishing shot of the Hellfire Club, though I do have to say the big attack that takes down Storm could've been more better presented. The last page arrival of the mystery villain was well done though, as the art does a nice job capturing the menacing quality of the character. One also has to love any comic cover that Greg Land offers up. Read Full Review
