Barry and Henry are just two of the handful of characters that make up the whole group. They begin to come together by the end of the issue, like pieces of a puzzle starting to form. They're not all in one place just yet, but there's enough movement and development to get you excited for more. This is an awesome way to start a series. These creators know how to handle a western horror comic, so I'm most definitely looking forwards to where Shadow Roads takes us. Read Full Review
A fast and spirited (pun intended) introduction to this universe, Shadow Roads #1 gives us a cast of interesting characters and a nice smattering of supernatural lore. Shadow Roads #1 is an interesting sci-fi/fantasy/western with compelling leads and a mystery at the heart of the world that calls to be solved. This is a strong start and approachable to those unfamiliar with the finer details of the Sixth Gun canon like myself. Mix that with some solid artwork, and you have a book worth recommending.
