Comics: The Gathering - Kalem Lalonde May 12, 2015

X-O Manowar #36 sets up the epic battle to come heading into the conclusion of this grand space-epic. Robert Venditti’s handle on this world and this character are extremely compelling and he takes this slower issue to let this situation sink in as he builds the characters. Venditti is a writer that continuously finds ways to top himself in terms of scale and Dead Hand feels like one of the most epic comics he has ever written. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring May 13, 2015

Dead Hand moves forward and is still a great arc for X-O MANOWAR. It may not have the same have the same impact as previous issues, but it's a solid read. One of the problems for this book is that it's coming out of the ARMOR HUNTERS event, so it can be hard to follow something so large and epic. Regardless, Venditti, Bernard, Winn, and Reber do some fine storytelling here, even if this issue was more about build up over anything else. X-O MANOWAR continues to be Valiant's stand-out book for me. You seriously should be reading this. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Tyler Goulet May 14, 2015

So aside from looking great, consistently, and being one of the most consistently well written books in all of comics… wait, there's no downside here. What more could you ask for in a book, especially one that comes out monthly? Does it need to be screamed from the roof tops before you people pick this book up, or what?X-O is brilliant, consistently, on ever level so buy it because my voice is getting hoarse.
