That ugly orc Gladius and his evil witch Doxon picked a fight with the wrong cursed barbarian! Revenge is a dish best served righteously, and Axe has spoken his judgment. Owen is in a murderous rage, Steele has his edge back, and Soren's magic runs deeper than anyone suspects.

But none of that means they're going to make it out alive... in the finale of the second arc of the most bloodthirsty comic of all time, BARBARIC!

I've got that mixed feelings on the approach to publishing in that we're getting small series of arcs, but mostly I come away from it in that if it keeps the series in the spotlight and gets more made, it's worth it. The quality of this three-issue run is strong across the board with writing, artwork, lettering, and the color design, resulting in a fantastic experience from issue to issue. It's got a lot of great old-school feelings to it but with all the polish and maturity of modern comics to it. This scratches an 80s indie black-and-white era kind of thing for me where creators were able to just tell the story they wanted and really deliver something that feels special and unique. I'm excited for the next round to see how they handle building the mythology more of this world and how the cast handles all the big changes. Read Full Review
