Now the story is really starting to take off. I finally find myself really attached to some of the characters as they really come into their own. There is great plot development, action, suspense, and a nice twist or two!

I don't know if I come back to this comic for the art or the writing. Lemire's such a good writer but I'm more into Nguyen's art. I'm sure after a few arcs the story will catch up with the gorgeous art!

I'm surprised at how many reviewers are willing to just whip out a ten rating for anything good yet nothing new or unique. Is it Jeff Lemire's name on it that excites these guys? This issue is fine but it's not like I cant wait for the next issue. A lot of the elements feel fairly familiar and not as exciting as you might hope based upon the review scores, but it's still relatively well written is more

Some people criticize this series because of Batman's characterization, Catwoman's portrayal and Tom King's storytelling. I think they are wrong. This series is something unique. No author has ever done something like that on this character. I've never thought that Batman could be written like this, being in love with Catwoman and doing everything he can to save her. But one of Tom King's greatest more
