Another good one! Critics continue to LOW BALL this series. Too Bad. Nick Spencer is building a classic. I'm loving the slow burn build up to Secret Empire

100% agreed. I'll go sofar as to say that this is my favorite Cap run since Waid/Garney. I'm gonna to be sacrilegious and say: I enjoy Spencer's run more than Brubaker's.

Every time this series started to gain momentum, an event shoved it off the tracks....and now it's done. I feel slightly disappointed, because Lemire is my favourite writer. If only he had gotten the series at a different time. Somehow I doubt he will come back to it after this.

Man-Thing by R.L. Stine sounded like an awesome idea. An incredibly succesful horror writer doing one of the flagship horror characters in the MU. Unfortunately, Stine's debut in comics lacks a lot of comic book-style story. He does not take advantage of the medium and the freedom it gives: The story is abruptly interrupted by a flashback, and although it began with an interesting idea, it boils d more

I've been reading Earth 2 since its very beginning during the New 52 initiative. I’m not happy to see how they’ve become an extremely unimportant franchise. Certainly, the Justice Society is going to get rebirthed, I hope the Earth 2 continuity to be considered. Helena as Batman’s successor is such a great development for the character. In my opinion, the greatest flaw in Earth 2 franchise more

What an amusing plot twist right in the beginning of the issue! I just loved it. And the flashback scenes are great. The way he is feared and disgusting is also a good point in the narrative. Also, the magical background concerning the char more

Well, I don't agree with you. Orlando's Midnighter and Midnighter and Apollo titles have generally high ratings in their reviews, and those comics addresses homosexuality in a very explicit and prominent way. Also, we can wait for the new Iceman comic release to testify such homophobia in comics. Batwoman tends to be such an incredible comic. I'm not ignoring there are lots of homophobic comics fans, I just don't agree that that is the main cause of the discontentment regarding America.

Jack's Yattering - Mar 24, 2017

I'm straight and in complete agreement with Billyndo. MIDNIGHTER was (mostly) amazing while AMERICA (which i looked forward to because I really like the character) is virtually unreadable.

The greatest problem with this issue is the fact that it is a pretty rushed conclusion to a story arc. You get to know everything about Warhead's identity and arc in a feel pages of dialogue, jumping from 0 to 100 too fast to really feel the story flowing. It is, though, an interesting plot: Warhead's connection to two eastern powerhouses of old times (Bialya and Kahndaq) can be a good point to more
