If the phrase “Cash grab” couldn’t be evermore relavant here. Civil War 2 is just a blantent and
Obvious cash in on the 2016 Captain America movie.
In my opinion the first civil war story was very unpleasant and very depressing and poorly handled, especially since it has an interesting premise with possibilities about civil liberties vs personal justice, and could connect to people still struggling with the trauma after post 9/11 world. Luckily the movie handled those ideas better than the actual book and in turn suceeded in a great movie.
Civil war in the grand scheme of things has no connection to either the first event, and really has no point to exist. The story is about a inhuman named Ulysses who can see into future but it’s only a possible future that isn’t garenteed, this gets the attention of Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel who wants to use Ulysses power to stop crimes before they happen, but Tony Stark aka Iron Man, after finding out the true process behind the boys powers, urges Carol Danvers to not take this seriously. What happens next are more or less the same plot beats as the first Civil War, heroes die, tradgedy strikes and everything ends bitterly.
I didn’t like or dislike this story, I ultimately just got board with it. On its own as just a typical Event comic it’s fine. As a sequel to the original story it’s not great and has nothing to do with what came before,
It doesn’t add anything or make you think, it’s just a dumb popcorn flick. Nuff said more

If there is one thing that is evident in recent years, it is just the dark, violent and unpleasant nature of dc comics primarily pre- Rebirth era. However with a sudden revalation that perhaps readers would enjoy just good old fashioned superhero fun, Dc decided to answer the fans and bring us Super sons. This series is fantastic, fallowing the adventures of Jon S. Kent aka Superboy aka Superman��s son, and Damian Wayne aka Robin aka Batman’s son as they fight crime together and bicker and complain and mock one another. Peter J. Tomasi really does do a terrific job at writing humorous childish but adolescent humor. The art work by Jorge Jimenez is great, he gives each of the boys a really great facial expressions, along with awkward but seriously poses. I really love this series, Never once disliking any of it or getting agrivated. It’s fun, it’s New reader friendly and very engaging to read. highly recommend. more

I am a hardcore Marvel fan, I’ll admit that they do too many events in a single year which tend to overwhelm some fans. IvX is in my opinion a really good event comic, infact I’ll admit it’s my favorite comic of all time. I love the X-men, and it’s obvious the series was made because Marvel didn’t own the film rights to the X-men characters, and were trying to make the relitivly obscure Inhumans the “New Mutants” which I felt was a terrible thing to do to long time fans. This book was meant to be the end of the mutant race, but luckily I am very please to say they didn’t go that route. What the story is about is the X-men’s race “Mutants” have had a long and
Hostile conflict with the Inhumans in other stories leading up to this. In the other stories the entire supply of the Inhumans powers “Terrigan mist” was released on the earth, and is deadly too mutants. In the uncanny inhuman book the X-men Hank McCoy aka Beast was working with the Inhumans to reverses the effects, but failed. In their series “Death of X” Scott Summers aka Cyclops went crazy from previous stories, and tried to kill the inhuman leader “Black Bolt” however he instead killed cyclops. This sends the mutants on quest for revenge just as the terrigan is covering the entire planet, which leads to the events of this story. What I love about this book is all the Subble moments as well as great character dynamics especially between the X-men’s leader storm as she is chooses to fight to save their species and The inhuman Queen Medusa who debates the future of her kind sinceits the mist that unlocks their powers. Their great action, awesome art work by Lieniel Francis Yu is pretty solid, providing great expressions for the characters and great fight scenes. Charles Soule and
Jeff Lemire both did a great job writing this, why not perfect as their is still some corniness it’s not destracting, this book is by no means perfect as in “Award winning” standard since it doesn’t have the other iconic
Marvel characters and if you aren’t familiar with the Inhumans you might be confused. But I loved it, and it’s a overall great popcorn flick of a adventure, one that will please X-men fans. Nuff said more
