This issue was very disappointing. It starts out well enough with the horror element. The monster is cool and Charlie feels to be in danger. However, when we move to the Hulk part, it falls apart. Since when can Hulk see ghosts? It doesn't feel like a Hulk story when he starts being led around by the dead detective, who tells his story instead of us dealing with the monster. It doesn't even end. I more

The Solomon Kane story was great as well. I truly enjoyed everything in this mag, articles and all. Do yourself a huge favor and pick this book up. I can’t wait for the next issue.

This is a really hard issue to review/rate. The art is absolutely fantastic imo, great line work and just pure eye candy. The coloring is also top notch. The writing is pretty good but the plot is weird and doesn’t really give us much yet. I feel this is a comic that will be better reviewed/rated as a whole than as it’s individual parts. There was definitely enough for me to like in the issue more
