Back to Basics. We need this in the X-Men. Seeing a school, students, teenager problems, people trying to kill them. Not much happened, maybe no the greatest story, yet it is in the right place. What i expect and love to see in an X-Men Book (after years of decay). Looking forward for more of this GenX.

There's so much wrong about this. I know it's not the writter's fault but Marvel policies. Nevertheless, it's just wrong. No new ideas. Nothing interesting to see here. 1 ) Extintion Again: but this time, not a well done. It's not just coming back to the same idea, it's also doing it worst. No justification. Not interesting to read. Not interesting to see how the caracters react to the event (we alreay seen it). X-men didn't needed this. In fact, it's just insulting, becouse you know, the X teams fought hard to overcome this, there were years of development to get past this idea of extintion. And just like that, here comes Marvel and says ok, fuck that, mutants are dying again. 2 ) Feared and Hated... but more than before: this is just pushing it. The X-men used this concept before but this is just ridiculous. It seems artificial. The book tries to make it sound serious and important, thouse thought-boxes (or whotever they are called) inform you fo how serious this is... but that's it. You have to beleve it's worst than before becouse the writter is telling it to you in a box. 3 ) Small X-men: this X-men seem small, not important in the general scope of things. The huge mutant universe seems to been... reduced and left without importance. I been reading X-men over 25 years, I've seen bad stories, on such a long term of time i can understand that not every story can be good. But this is just insulting. And this is not just something of this book (though this is the main title that revolts on this ideas), it's about the actual Marvel Universe. The GOOD: as usual with the X-Men, character characterization, dialogs. Wich actually that is what you look for if you dig the X-Men. So, in a way, the writters really try to compensate for the BS context they are given by Marvel. Have to respect them for that.
