But why a 10?

Art was superb.
I know many haven’t been a fun of Zdarsky’s run, but I’ve enjoyed it. I do wish it was better. This one felt like it could’ve been better if there was a tad bit more exposition.
DARK PRISONS--FINALE It all comes down to this: Batman versus Batman! With Damian's life--and the future of Gotham--hanging in the balance, nothing can prepare either version of the Dark Knight for what's about to happen!
I still think the start of this run was horrendous. I still think anytime he touches MJ it’s garbage. But, the little things that he’s planted along the way, are they actually going to pay off?
Great job on the art.
THE SINISTER SIX IS BACK!
As if the Green Goblin weren't enough, the Sinister Six has returned too!!!
When it rains, it pours - and this rain is going to put Spider-Man into a world of hurt!

"Bounty," Part 5 of 6. There is more than one path through the undiscovered country. The Destiny Man knows all the hidden highways and secret roads, and he'll be happy to show them to you... as long as you can afford the toll. It is almost time to meet the mysterious force that built the new America upon the ruins of the old... Aurora is calling.
Filler/transition issues are hard to rate. For what it was, it was great. But since it really just felt like a placeholder until a possible blood hunt tie in, it couldn’t be much more.
Miles Morales, A.K.A. SPIDER-MAN, faces his greatest challenge yet - BABY SITTING HIS LITTLE SISTER BILLIE! But wasn't he supposed to fight crime with Shift? Oh, and there was a thing with Ms. Marvel! Oh no! He forgot to call Ganke back! And he's an hour late to meet Starling?! Miles' world is spinning, and he has no idea that it's all about to get...

If you thought the first issue of Jackpot and Black Cat was mid, you haven’t read bad yet.
Bronfman continues on her merry march of character assassination. Last issue she turned Mary Jane Watson into a melodramatic parody of Batman. This issue she annihilates Felicia Hardy, turning her into a callous liar who doesn’t care that her and her girlfriend’s larcenous blackmail scheme more
Much of NYC is out to KILL MARY JANE WATSON! Including BLACK CAT?! There's something sinister going on, and it's tied to a classic Marvel villain with ties to our co-stars!

I don’t agree with the low scores. Good book, good starting point. Interesting in the ways they’re relating to old Gwen.
TRAPPED IN THE 616...FOR GOOD!
Welcome to New York! Gwen truly becomes a Ghost-Spider when she moves full time to the universe where Gwen Stacy died years ago. But why did she leave Earth-65? Why aren't the other spiders supposed to know she's here? Why isn't she supposed to suit up? And who will get hurt when she does?

Fun but kind of meh.
Five words: Otto Octavius, the Superior Spider-Boy. That's all you need to know. What? Do you want us to spoil EVERYTHING? Read the book. Superior Spider-Boy?! HOW? Why would we do that? Was this the plan all along?! SHHH! We didn't even want to tell you THAT much. Hope you're happy now. Look, JUST READ THE BOOK.

Setup for the rest of the arc, excited to see where this goes.
The Eisner Award-winning duo of Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo reunite to tell Nightwing's greatest story yet. The culmination of Heartless's sabotage on Nightwing reaches its dramatic climax when Nightwing loses his ability to leap, impeding his duties to be the superhero we know and love.
I have NOT enjoyed a lot of this run. This book? This book was really good. It does lose half a point because it was $10. The book prices are high enough, I don’t need the extra back stories. That being said, the back stories were fine.
Glad JRJR is nowhere to be seen, inside or on the cover.
GUESS WHO'S BACK?!
THE GREEN GOBLIN RETURNS in this landmark and massive issue of ASM that boasts not only a double-sized main story but some instant Spider-Man classics by legends and legends to be! With no allies, no weapons, and almost no hope...can Batman fight back before Zur makes a true devil's bargain? The world is about to know Zur's true power! Him and...his new sidekick? Dark Prisons continues!
The art looks so phoned in if Spider-Man or anything without any action isn't on panel. It's so disappointing. The only thing saving the art is the amazing coloring that really doesn't seem to hit until page 6. As for the story, for someone who isn't diving into Blood Hunt yet this was an engaging and pretty harmless tie-in. Its nice to see Peter getting upset about the world around him constantlymore
A BLOOD HUNT TIE-IN!
Vampires are running rampant through New York City and while the Avengers are caught in the middle, someone has to take care of the citizens of the Big Apple. That person? Yep, Spider-Man. But if only it were that simple. Things never are and this issue leads directly into Spider-Man's larger role in BLOOD HUNT!

Plot
This comic supports the Blood Hunt event, Spider-man tries to stop the Vampire massacre in New York, when Katreem contacts him to help him save his friend Rabbit, who works for Tombstone but is now a vampire.
In the Marvel Universe the rule applies that if you kill the vampire who turned you, you are cured, so Peter helps stop the person who turned Rabbit into a vampire, but h more

Because it's a Spidey story with Vampires, it's the noble soul of Peter trying to cope with this end of the world scenario. And JRJR art...incredible!!!
Random fill in issue for a big event. It was fine for what it was.
I dislike JRJRs art, but I will give credit when it’s due. There were actually some nice panels in this one. The cover is mediocre though.

Retcon or reveal, not sure. As a stand-alone book it was good, but a “this character has been there the whole time” angle is almost never good. I appreciate Taylor trying to redeem the good parts of the Ric era, but I’d be even happier if Ric is never mentioned again.
THE SECRET ORIGINS OF BEA BENNETT! During Nightwing's recent pirate adventure, we learned that Bea Bennett, Dick/Ric's ex-girlfriend, is a pirate queen whose father, the Quartermaster, left her an entire pirate society! But what about her life before she became a pirate? Before she met Ric Grayson? Just what, and more importantly, who led her to wh...
Another great book. Awesome art in the book and an awesome cover by Alex Ross.

That last page is nasty, gross nasty. I feel like the church of blood is a little over used but I’m glad he’s doing something which, right now, appears to be different. Stills interested to see where this is going.
Love the art.
ALL HAIL THE CHURCH OF BLOOD! With their newest leader, Brother Eternity, going public with a former Titan as part of his flock, the church has more followers than ever before. Do the Titans stand a chance at influencing the people of the world to fight brainwashing and prepare for the large intergalactic threat looming on the horizon?
It was fine. Start of a new arc, I’d be more excited if I knew anything about the Ric era since we’re surprisingly going back there, but I dropped the book during it.
Sail the high seas with Nightwing and Batgirl as they journey across the ocean in search of the Hold’s secret society that dates back to when Blüdhaven was founded. We saw previously in Nightwing #99 that the Hold’s vault held several safes…and here we’ll find out there has always been one left for Nightwing.
Here we are again with a bunch of people over-hating on Tini Howard for whatever reason. That's all I'll say about that. As for the issue itself, I must say that I felt as though it was the weakest issue of the Gotham War crossover so far. I might have given this a 6.5 initially, but I really enjoyed how Howard wrote Nightwing and I also liked the twist at the end of the issue. Hopefully this is jmore

Solid issue, the art was done very well and fit the vibe.
Biggest downside is Paul’s stupid face is in it.

Still curious to see how this plays out. Feels a little rushed overall, makes the train if thought of everyone less believable.
