The issue was good, but the part at the end was disappointing and unnecessary. I never liked love triangles, but I trusted Ram to approach them neutrally. But I thought this issue was disrespectful to Selina. It would be better if she wasn't in TEC. I didn't like him using Selina between Bruce and Talia; If he had done this to Talia's detriment, his fans would have been outrageously angry (and rightly so). Bruce is only alive because Selina organized a plan to save him; she was by his side until the last second, expressing how difficult the impending separation was for her and how much she loves him. She only didn't leave Gotham with him because Talia said she couldn't go. Ram writes Selina clearly traumatized by seeing Batman die; she is willing to fulfill her promise to never let him fall at any cost. If the writer's intention is to explore an old passion of Bruce's, what is the need to use Selina in this position? Bruce looked uncomfortable in her presence. Maybe my judgment is hasty, but if the next issues are based on love triangles, I'll really lose interest. |
