Broken World #1

With the familiar setup, Broken World #1 does well for a disaster piece but has enough to stand out from other standard disaster stories once you get a look at the art and that surprising twist at the end of the issue.

Strange Fruit #1

Overall, Strange Fruit #1 by J.G. Jones and Mark Waid is just great. From the convincing writing to the beautiful artwork, this comic's just a masterpiece. And while the whole comic's serious, the writers don't really forget that they still have the freedom to do something surreal which was shown here.

The Shrinking Man #1

The Shrinking Man #1 is definitely a great read for Ant-Man fans or anyone who likes stories with great suspense. You'll really feel the stress as the story progresses as the writing and the artwork delivers really well and as you read along and eventually get to the end, the story gets even more stressful as the ending leaves you wanting to wait for the next issue.

Overall, The Shrinking Man #2 greatly continues the success by giving this issue a similar story pattern to the firstbut focuses more on Scott's journey to becoming completely shrunken this time around.

The Spire #1

Overall, The Spire #1 makes as a fun post-apocalyptic set story with all the quirkiness and world building potential but also balances itself out with the artwork as well as the ending of this first issue which definitely makes you want to read the next one.

The Spire #2continues to deliver as it began in thefirstissue this time with more character focus. While the character focus does end, the actual ongoing mystery of the comic progresses which gives the reader a reason to be excited for the next issue.
