Blade Runner Origins issue 1 is a comic that has all of the hallmarks of a neo-noir story, almost to a fault. The dialogue is moody, the atmosphere is crushing, the art is dark, and the characters are all appropriately shady and guarded. It's quintessentially Blade Runner. However, Blade Runner is kind of all it is right now. It feels like something that could be good, great even. But so far it's just enjoyable.
