This book was never going to match the impact or legacy of the first or the craziness of the second. When a creator writes and draws both, I think that the connection you can make with the work can be on a different level and I do miss Franks art. Its not the best Batman book I have read this month but it does have a story to tell and there is no chance that I will not be there to hear it told.

If you like Myth, if you like Fantasy, if youre a Scottish person living away from home and want a wee hello or if you just want to read a really well written book that might just give you a taste of times gone by then in my view this Number 1 delivers that and certainly deserves another issue.
