Chris: Hopefully my comments wont come across as pure venom for this book, because as I have stated already this book could have been a five-bullet rating for me if it hadnt broke bad in the area of plagiarism. Johnston might call his work a parody, or allegory, or he could be going for exactly what I took his work to be. If you want to portray a serious work and use elements of characters already in use by other companies, thats your business; just dont tell me this is a work created by Rich Johnston when instead credits could equally be given to Siegel and Shuster.

Murman: Nah, there's too many plot holes for me to recommend this book. The only reason to recommend this book are for Matt Murdock fans who need this to complete their collection. Much like the great Star Wars reference you made, Dave, this series is going to be nothing more than a poorly made prequel. Gritty art and tightly paced scenes are not enough to make the script a keeper.
