Critical Hit #2

Oct 29, 2014

Critical Hit follows in the footsteps of Liberator, existing as its own story with its own twists and surprises. It's definitely not for everyone, between its harsh language and disturbing imagery many will be put off by this book. But once you dive deeper into the story and understand the characters motives and personalities , Critical Hit becomes a thrilling fight for survival in a world turned upside-down.

Doctor Spektor: Master Of The Occult #2

Jul 1, 2014

Doctor Spektor Master of the Occult is off to a great start in this new revival. It's dark and mysterious with great character moments and witty dialogue to invest your time into. Spektor and Abby have great personality and plenty of space to grow as individuals if while they remain separated. If you like Sci-Fi and supernatural themes then I would highly recommend picking up this title before the curtain calls on this magicians act.

Pathfinder: City of Secrets #3

Jul 8, 2014

If you are a fan of the Pathfinder RPG then you will certainly enjoy this comic. City of Secrets takes characters who you are already familiar with and breathes life into them in a way that opens up whole new ways for you to play the game. It's not perfect by any means and with the characters just settling in back home the story does take a little time to get going. But if it continues to do well then The Bards will be singing songs of these tales for years to come.

The Empty Man #2

Jul 8, 2014

It's a great book and one you should definitely consider picking up. There's this uncomfortable feeling inside you as you read but in a good and intentional way. You are sucked into the atmosphere and the imagery of the book and you don't know what is going to happen next. You become empty wanting more.

The Infinite Loop #4

Jul 21, 2015

I could go on for hours about this series, and talk in great length about its different themes and analogies but really its just something you have to experience for yourself. Its beautifully written and expertly crafted into a great example of what it means to find happiness and the power of not being ashamed of who you are. As the writer puts it, its a story about celebrating love. So lets all celebrate loving this book.

Tomb Raider #7

Aug 27, 2014

If you were a fan of the Tomb Raider reboot or just a Tomb Raider fan in general then I would most definitely recommend checking this book out. There are a lot of great character moments for Lara and some good throwbacks to the game it was based on, and offers a little taste of what we can expect from Rise of The Tomb Raider next year.
