The All New Fathom series is personally my first dive into the world of Fathom and I could not be happier to have taken that first dip into it. Aspen has quickly become one of my favorite heroines, not just in comics but in general and I highly recommend that new readers and veterans alike catch up on the latest series if they haven't in time for the conclusion.

The Fall of Fyrestone #1 is great if you love Borderlands and want more from the franchise. It's a faithful retelling of the events in Fyrestone found in the first game and has all the best aspects from it. However, if you want something other than a retread of a story you already know, you won't find it here.

The Death-Defying Dr. Mirage is right up your alley if you enjoy paranormal tales. It is fresh and exciting new material for a different direction from Valiant that is distinctive from what we are used to beyond just a gender change. I'm looking forward for the story to continue and I hope you all check it out so I have someone to discuss it with when it releases September 3rd.

Trees offers something interesting for anyone looking for something different and a little unconventional. I predict that Trees will be the type of story that will likely reward patient readers who don't mind watching a mystery slowly unravel.
