Summing the issue up I must say I rather enjoyed it, the joy of a miniseries is that I know that what will unfold will have a complete beginning, middle and end which I must say I find particularly enticing, certainly I want to see what the second issue has to say as hopefully the characters fill out and a clear goal is established allowing for a tight, concise story to be told.

Ultimately the writer's less than stellar grasp of written English, I'm sure that a version written in Spanish would be more engaging and a hell of a better read. Unfortunately I don't think my GCSE in Spanish would allow me to read it. I'm really hoping between now and the next issue they get a proof reader who has a better grasp of English.

As always the creative team have once again crafted another issue full of all the pop culture references and sudden left field dramatic entrances that have already started to become the bedrocks of the series. Maybe if this wasn't completely with my sweet spot I'd be being to feel fatigue but as it's not I'm still loving every issue naysayers. Certainly writers Stevenson and Ellis keep zigging when I expect them to zag while at the same time building up a mythology with plenty of intrigue, its only Issue #5, which is nowhere near the impenetrable level of some other "entertainment" I won't debase myself by listing alongside this comic. It'd just be a disservice to this book.

Enough of that though, I'm gonna wrap this review up swiftly so as to not outstay my welcome, the series continues to produce the goods both in the art and the writing and I'm looking forward to how it'll handle the increase in plot as we launch to the end of this arc.

This set up however doesn't feel like the status quo. The previously mentioned cliffhanger goes here, the pages contained here don't feel like an issue 1 per say but rather an overly long prelude for what comes next. I guarantee I will.

To wrap up then, I enjoyed this one more than the first issue but I guess that's down to the grunt work it had to do to set up its stall going forward. Which thanks to Erica I will be reading; I just hope the rest of the world is quickly brought up to the bench mark she's currently setting.

So to conclude I can say that the creative brains of this series have got me interested and on board for further issues. With the added safety net that I know going in this is a finite miniseries so there will be a conclusion and all the loose ends will be tied up.
