Doomsday Clock #3

It is safe to assume that this comic will make some people angry, but I'm still in it, if only to have a front row seat to a possible train wreck. Yes, this series creates a considerable number of paradoxes for Watchmen, but does it matter? Maybe. The thing is, this isn't Watchmen. And never forget, Dr. Manhattan is still out there, and he can essentially do anything he wants. Nothing is truly off the table. |

Hungry Ghosts #2

Both stories exemplify the quintessential aspects inherent in spooky stories. They keep the readers guessing while fear looms ever-present in the waning background. But Hungry Ghosts doesn't just make us afraid to look at what might be creeping behind us; it has us second-guessing our cuisine choices. This issue leaves you craving seconds. Or, in this case, thirds. |

John Wick #1

Greg Pak (Mech Cadet Yu, Kingsway West) has plenty of good titles and I would be willing to give this series a second chance based on his name alone. While Dynamite's synopsis presents this issue as an introduction to the world of John Wick, I was disappointed by its vague start. |
