Cryptocracy #5
Nov 3, 2016 |
All in all, CRYPTOCRACY #5 is a wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated issue. It is completely immersive, and contains characters that are lovable, hate-able, feared, and even pitiable. Despite that the ideas of government conspiracies and dystopian worlds are fairly common among books and comics, Van Jensen has been able to create a unique and interesting story that this issue continues the high standards of. |

Divinity III: Stalinverse #1

Overall, the first issue of DIVINITY III: STALINVERSE is very pleasing. I was a little worried about the plot at first due to the similarities between it and DIVINITY II; however, those worries are starting to fall away. Even if it does end up being a similar plot, the world-building, art, and characterization more than make up for it already. I am very, very excited to see where this comic will go. |

Ether #1
Nov 17, 2016 |
To conclude, this first issue of ETHER is fantastic to say the very least. The plot and characterization are both surprisingly engaging for a first issue, and the art could have an entire review written on it alone. Matt Kindt and David Rubn have created something amazing with this series, and I really hope that the rest of the issues will live up to this first one. |

Moonshot: The Indigenous Comics Collection #1
Nov 10, 2016 |
Overall, reading MOONSHOT: THE INDIGENOUS COMICS COLLECTION Vol. 1 was a wonderful experience. The art is lovely, unique, and reflects the events of each story. The stories have many different settings; these settings include the past, present, and future, as well as on Earth or off Earth. Some were sci-fi retellings, and some were more traditional. All of them, however, were thoroughly enjoyable. |
