With snappy writing, bold colors, and loud lettering, Dexter's Laboratory delivers a great adventure overall. While I would've wanted to see some more variation in the art, it does a great job of recreating the show's characters as if it was an actual episode of the show. If you're like me, and grew up during Cartoon Network's golden days and want to relive some memories with your favorite spectacled autodidact, look no further than this comic. It's pretty good.

If you are looking for a great all-ages book to speak to that inner child buried deep within all of us, look no further than Lumberjanes. It's off to a great start and has a bright future in store as one of Boom's best titles. Even if you haven't read the previous three issues, this book is easy to jump into, and reprints of the very successful first three issues should be on the way. Lace up your hiking boots and don your coonskin cap, and jump into the absurd adventures of Lumberjanes.

Post-apocalyptic fiction is gobbled up by the masses and if you enjoy that brand of fiction, then you'll be at home with Spread, but to me it just seems like another book trying to cash in on the genre's recent renaissance. I won't plan on paying much attention to the book unless more liberal changes are made to the story to stand out against the sea of similar titles.

Stray Bullets:Killers is one of the best books you can pick up today. It's brutality, grit, and blood all help to make it stand out against most mainstream books, especially those being put out by Image, which have been either hit or miss for me honestly. Killers continues to deliver brutally honest stories with violent undertones that makes this series hard to look at sometimes after reading multiple issues at once. I wish there were more books like this being put out today so badly. David Lapham is a genius.
