I really loved the character work. Everyone was operating on multiple levels with so much said without dialogue. For an issue that's one big conversation, that's a real asset to the storytelling.

This issue was a great end to the arc, and probably the best issue Bergting's done yet.

Great art, lots to digest, and plenty of room for this to be an important story for the character.

I'm enjoying this arc. Plot wise, there are some very interesting things on the table. Although I'm a little nervous that they'll be quickly diffused with only one issue to go. I hope not, but it's happened before, and it's unsatisfying.

It's Sebastin's choices that define this arc for me more than anything else. He could have approached the flashbacks as he always has, but this time he went and did something completely different.

I know this isn't going to be to everyone's taste. It's unusual. But for me it was unusual in all the right ways. Like you said, most of this issue's strength comes from the art. It's certainly the most memorable of the flashback issues.
