Donald & Mickey: Treasure Menace in Venice #1

Aug 12, 2018

Overall, Donald and Mickey continues to show the best of both worlds when it comes to the adventures of Duckburg's bad luck ridden duck and Mouseton's ace detective. The stories themselves were either good or predictable but it is still an issue worth picking up if you like Donald Duck or Casty's work.

Ducktales #4

Dec 24, 2017

While the formula of the Duck Tales formula might be switching from covering past adventures of Della, Scrooge and Donald, the comic still thrives upon being the companion book for the Disney XD series filling the void left by the hiatus of the series that fans can enjoy time and time again until the return of the Duck Tales episodes.

Ducktales #5

Jan 28, 2018

Not the greatest Duck Tales issue out there, it still satisfies Duck Tales fans while they await the return of the animated series on Disney XD. Duck Tales is a great read for Disney fans or young readers trying out comics for the first time.

Ducktales #7

Mar 15, 2018

For those who felt last issue was a little lacking due to the lack of supernatural elements, this issue is for you , containing two stories containing spectral and ghouls. The second story does remind me of Star vs The Forces of Evil's Box of Thruth with the element of having to tell the truth or facing the consequences. This was a solid issue, worth a purchase if you love a bit of excitement to your Disney stories

Ducktales #8

Apr 12, 2018

This is easily the weakest Duck Tales issue so far, the stories were very predictable and didn't fill my itch for more adventures that the other issues have filled to this point. The first issue brought back a beloved villain from the Duck Tales pilot but the execution was poor due to the filler material in the middle of the issue.

Star Wars Adventures #4

Dec 2, 2017

This issue didn't really do anything for me honestly, I would have preferred having the full Trouble in Tibrin story in this issue instead of having it being split in two to make room for an inferior Tales From Wild Space story. The art from Annie Wu is nice but honestly, the story didn't do much for me, it felt like a commercial you would see for younger kids about standing up for yourself. I would have preferred just having one long story in a single issue.

Star Wars Adventures #5

Dec 28, 2017

While the main story was not my cup of tea, I will say that I enjoyed the Porg story as the film didnt delve much into their personalities other than they were birds and liked making nests or making Wookies regret eating two of their own kind for supper while waiting at the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars: Rogue One Graphic Novel Adaptation #1

Nov 28, 2017

The film has been well adapted within 75 pages without sacrificing much of its scenes, there are a few omissions but they tend to cut out the less important content and focus on the scenes that fit the medium more. This will make a fine addition to the collection of Star Wars graphic novels available from Disney Publishing including The Prequel Trilogy, The Original Trilogy and The Force Awakens all available in hardcover format.

Tangled (2018) #1

Feb 20, 2018

Tangled #1 is a very great start to IDW's newest Disney focused mini series, it hits all the right marks to make it an appropriate companion to the animated film or television series. Featuring bright colours and action, the title is perfect for Disney and comic book fans of all ages. The further adventures of Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra and Maximus is highly recommended and worth the admission price.

Tangled (2018) #3

Nov 25, 2018

Tangled #3 is worth reading if you love the television show or just the Disney Princesses overall. Rapunzel and her friends will return in a new limited series later this year from IDW Publishing. I managed to read it while on my trip to Italy back in August.

Uncle Scrooge (2015) #31

Oct 20, 2017

Its a nice simple story but would have been worked better if it was originally released in the late 90s instead of 2014 since that was when they boy band boom happened. There are rarely any boy bands these days so this story feels very dated by default.

Uncle Scrooge (2015) #34

Apr 17, 2018

This is a great issue of Uncle Scrooge since I love stories where Uncle Scrooge worries about his family whenever he sacrifices them or betrays them for a great deal of fortune then feels guilty and does no matter what to get them back. It shows that Uncle Scrooge has a heart somewhere in there.

Uncle Scrooge (2015) #38

Aug 14, 2018

Uncle Scrooge #38 continues to bring on new adventures featuring the richest duck in the world. Uncle Scrooge's newest exploits shows us why he is smarter than the smarties and tougher than the toughies for over 70 years. The book contains enough content for children of all ages but for the Disney collectors out there, wait for the hardcover compilation to enjoy more Scrooge for your buck.

Walt Disney Showcase #1

Feb 6, 2018

Walt Disney Showcase #1 is a great start for finding longer stories featuring your favorite Disney characters, this first issue was mainly focused on Donald Duck. From what I heard, each issue will focus on different characters, hopefully we will see some more obscure content like the 1960s Beagle Boys stories, some of the European Basil stories or some movie adaptations down the line. Walt Disney Showcase is prefect for anyone from younger readers to even the most seasoned of Disney fans with a little of everything for everyone.

Walt Disney Showcase #2

Apr 18, 2018

Walt Disney Showcase #2 continues to be the place for longer Disney stories that can't be published in the other IDW titles. This time the focus is on a Goofy centered story with Mickey on the side. I am thankful to get some new stories that don't feature any ducks. I am honestly ducked out
