Cyborg (2016) #1
Sep 23, 2016 |
Another big problemin CYBORG #1 is that the main villain feels like an afterthought. Kilg%re is introduced inthe beginning, and by the time he reappeared at the end I'd already forgotten about him. At this point, I'm more excited for Vic's showdown with his father. Hopefully the next installmentwill give us more clues as to what Vic is actually up against. Overall, this issue provides a lot of great characterization for Cyborg, but it doesn't reveal enough about the villain to keep the reader invested. |

Cyborg: Rebirth #1

Overall, CYBORG REBIRTH #1 is a powerful introduction with a good balance between action and character development. The final page also suggests a future team-up with Supergirl, which is exciting! |

Supergirl: Rebirth #1
Aug 22, 2016 |
Overall, Orlando and Lupacchino succeed attaking elements of the show and putting their own twist on them. The end result is a first issue that embraces the show's optimistic tonewithout being too indebted to the series. All in all, it was a strong debut for the Girl of Steel. |
