Many comics read as if they might make a good live action movie. This one reads as if it would make a good animated film, Saturday morning cartoon, or more like something you might see on Adult Swim. The primary shortcoming of thisbook is it is too silly for some adults taste, but has too much adult language for children. Every comic is not for everyone, but this one is good at what it does, and does what it intends to do which is entertain humorously in unexpected off the wall ways. I'd recommend anyone to give God Hates Astronauts a try if they want to see something totally different. I'd compare it to something, but there is nothing like it to compare it to. The title of the first part of the story is “A star is born”, and with this series it just might be. So pick it up, and press start with your mind finger.
