Tired of paying .99 a comic from the big two for stories you couldn't give a damn about? Image Comics and other publishers are stepping up to the plate with some really good an unique stories – throw them the damn ball.

For five big ones, I can't really recommend this one.

If you haven't jumped on the thrilling roller coaster that is Irredeemable yet, you're definitely missing one hell of a ride.

Be forewarned, this book is probably not for the faint of heart and contains graphic imagery of horrendous acts as well as nudity.

Who is the man in the mask with the Pinwheel Press logo?

As seems to be the trend lately, the price tag on this is a hard to swallow $3.99 but if you're going to drop four bucks on a comic, reward the creators behind this book for telling a brand new story that isn't just another reboot or re-imagining.

All in all, this issue wasn't fantastic but it wasn't bad. Every title has filler issues and it seems to me that this is a bridge to something more interesting.
