Aquaman (2011) #25

Nov 28, 2013

Good end to the arc. Great set up for the next arc! Not the best story that's been told in this book, but far from the worst. It really felt like a big build up for this next arc, and the ending left me wanting more"but not more of this story.

Batman / Superman (2013) #6

Great story. Entertaining battles. Believable reasons to bring Superman and Batman together. The only thing this arc lacks is FEET! Dammit! Batman/Superman #6 scores:

Cable and X-Force #16

Nov 20, 2013

If you've been following Cable and X-Force, just struggle through this one. It looks bad, and the writing isn't perfect. I'm hoping for a lot more from Cable and X-Force but the whole series has been very lack luster as a whole. Cable and X-Force #16 continues to lower my expectations, and crawls away with 2/5 Nuggets.

Deadpool (2012) #15

Aug 29, 2013

This issue is packed full of action, some very breathtaking art, and for once a cohesive story that sets up a dark and gritty back story that's never been told about Deadpool. I'm really excited to learn more about Deadpool's time with Weapon Plus. Brian Posehn has already proven that he knows his Deadpool. Deadpool fans need to pick this issue up. This is non negotiable. If not, you'll be missing out on something big.

Deadpool (2012) #16

Sep 12, 2013

I don't have anything but praise for Brian Posehn's run on Deadpool. Issue #16 is funny, dark, and finally something to be taken seriously. It's a good time to be a Deadpool fan. I'm giving this issue a gleaming 5/5 Nuggets.

Forever Evil #1

Sep 4, 2013

Forever Evil 1 has some great pacing. Every panel progresses the story with no filler in between. I was so unhappy with the ending to Trinity War, but if it was all for this"well, it is a great start. At no point in time did I feel like My money was wasted.

Justice League (2011) #25

Dec 12, 2013

'Justice League #25" loses a point for barely progressing the story after a month long wait. In terms of quality, issue #25 is visually stunning, and very well written. It's a solid build up issue and worth the buy.

Superior Spider-Man (2013) Annual #1

Nov 21, 2013

If you're a fan of Superior Spider-Man, pick this issue up. It's a little pricey, but it sets up a lot of important plot devices. Christos Gage and Javier Rodriguez have created a great Annual issue, and it would be a shame if you miss this one. Superior Spider-Man Annual #1 swings off the pages with:
