Book number 1 follows our protagonist Kara as she learns some (possibly) disturbing things about not just herself, but also her father...Jim Gordon. Being faced with new threats that she has never faced, she seems to almost question her own existence in this world. New allies have potentially emerged for her though, as she moves forward into this new era.
