Joey and Baby Badass arrive in Larouth and discover a secret which could lead to the salvation of civilization. Meanwhile, Colonel Killjoy and Shiver form a brutal alliance to hunt them down. Later, our heroes are introduced to Professor Locke and the Way Underground, the noble but flawed Resistance which includes escaped misft M.O.T.H.E.R. experiments known as "The Superfluous Six."
