Coming Up Comics - David Melton
Feb 17, 2015Yonder's artwork is perfect for this story. Keeping it dark and, at the same time, light. Just from the looks of the characters you know immediately who you'll be rooting for and who you'll be rooting against. Instead of trying to mesmerize with over-detailing, Yonder keeps the look simple while using interesting techniques to get the most out of certain situations. Read Full Review

Feb 20, 2015Pirate Eye: Exiled from Exile needs more vibrancy with its characters; I need to feel like this is strictly a pirate story, not a pirate-themed story. I fully approve of the Pirate Noir idea, it definitely works, but I think you can't lose the Pirate in the Noir. Giving that it is the first issue, I still have hope things will pick up and I may pick up the next issue. Read Full Review
