As the battle for Drakarra rages, the Vin twins have escaped the capital with the warrior Zara. Zara knows a place of safety, but it will be a long and perilous journey. As darkness falls, the portal lighting the sky stirs the twin’s inner conflicts about their Earther-Tassonite heritage. Zara recounts the dramatic events surrounding the portal’s appearance.
