When TerraCore - a substance able to terraform planets - is discovered, it changes the landscape of the universe... until it becomes a limited resource, giving rise to piracy and leaving planets dead in its wake. In the midst of a battle, Captain Langer crash-lands on one of those dead worlds and discovers that its straggling inhabitants are quite different from what he expected - in more ways than one.

There's definitely a lot of world building done in this issue. There's some info-dump moments, but I don't think it breaks the overall story. With it only being a four issue mini I'm glad to have it out-of-the-way so we can just enjoy the rest of the series and discover the answers to the mysteries placed before us in this first issue. If you like sci-fi, you might want to check out Bornhome. Read Full Review
