Ordinarily this is the point where I'd declare Francis Manapul saves the day. Sadly Manapul's considerable talent can't compensate for the writing travesty on display, and it's also a shame that aforementioned talent isn't entirely on display here. Much of Manapul's kinetic action isn't entirely evident as most panels are relatively average considering what has been displayed before. There are also several sequences during the battle that look at bit awkward - people shooting at nothing and so forth. Fans of the artist should simply wait for his work on Legion.
