There are a lot of little hints here and there that Irizarri adds to make this series more controversial. And when it comes to books, the more controversial the subject matter, the better. This is turning out to be a really interesting story, and I’m hooked! Will the government step in and deport Owen? Will his debt be the death of him? Will he meet his family ever again?!
