"Over the Garden Wall" #17 is a surprisingly mature tale. And while Sjursen-Lien and Monlongo's work doesn't have to be read like that " a surface reading can stand on its own legs much like the fiddle-cat tends to defiantly stand on his " it just makes the story all the richer.
