Emmy has learned that she is not as alone in the world as she thought. Other beings, each possessing dark and terrifying powers, have arrived in Harrow, and they claim to be her true family. They promise to reveal the mysteries of her origin and the truth about the evil witch Hester Beck, but if she accepts their claims, she may condemn everyone she's ever known.

Tyler Crook continues to leave me in awe with his artwork on this series. Not only are the characters wonderfully expressive, but gifts are showcased complementary to the text and Crook gets to flex some artistic license in making those powers both grandiose and beautifully ominous. This issue may be my favorite of the series to date as it encompasses all that I've come to associate with Harrow County. This series gets better and better with every issue. At this point, I'm on the edge of my seat, because the entire fate of Harrow County is hanging by a thread. This entire series is true horror. This stuff isn't simply slasher or monster or any clich horror genre like that. This is sophisticated horror, disturbing and poignant, and is well worth the read. Read Full Review
