Jan 28, 2026Freedman creates an entertaining story in this first issue. The plot does a great job of developing the character as well as setting up the diverging conflicts that might be connected to each other in a way I haven’t figured out yet. Jan 28, 2026The Witcher: Blood Stone #1 is an excellent introduction to a short four-part story and is set up as strong further reading for fans of the Witcher universe. Both the story and the art seem to understand the world and its most famous character, Geralt of Rivia, who is portrayed well despite only playing a small role in the actual events of the issue itself. My recommendation: perfect for pre-existing fans of The Witcher, perhaps a bit confusing for first-time readers that arent already familiar with the character or world. Read Full Review
