With each issue of BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM, you're pretty much guaranteed a great time. For only $.99 an issue, Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs pack in all the reasons we love Batman and his associated characters. Leave it to these two to figure out a way to continue their holiday-themed storytelling and figure out how to use Daylight Saving Time in an issue. We get some great "guest stars" that fall far from what you might possibly expect. This is the joy of the "Digital First" format. When a series has such a high bar for quality, a decent entry can feel disappointing. More important, however, is the reality of just how routinely magnificent Nguyen and Fridolfs have been. The twenty-second chapter of the Lil Gotham is in no way poor and is still a high quality release. Still, readers may find themselves a little less satisfied this time around. Read Full Review
