As Blue Beetle struggles to establish himself as the protector of El Paso and Cuidad Juarez, he finds himself thrown into the heart of the immigration struggle, made all the more complicated by the involvement of Intergang and another, more mysterious, figure.
Allinall, a good start to Sturges run, but nothing that screams go out and buy this issue. Blue Beetle fans should be happy for the return to stability of a permanent writer and I'm looking forward to reading more from him. Read Full Review
The stage has been set, the first issue launched, and "Blue Beetle" seems well on its way into the next big adventure. The book has survived 29 issues and been solicited to nearly a complete third year. I strongly believe that with this creative team, the book could easily hit #50 and gain a larger following on the way. Read Full Review
