Im really a fan of Mahmud Asrar, and this issue will make it clear why. Hes got a very strong storytelling style, he does dynamic action scenes, and he puts some good emotion on his faces. Some of the inking is a little heavy here, but not so much as to really hurt the book. This doesnt appear to be required reading to follow the event storyline, but if youre looking forward to the new adventures of the Atom in Adventure Comics, this is probably a good book to start with. The Atom's back, and this issue is a fine introduction to him, but it's light on action. Good thing the story continues in "Adventure" and not some other Super-title. This is a fine starting point for readers unfamiliar with the Mighty Mite, and it's approachable for younger readers as well. Read Full Review
