Is this hardcover worth reading despite the construction problems and omissions? Possibly, especially if the stories within are still new to you. This book serves as a convenient smorgasbord of much of Moore's DC material not collected elsewhere. On the other hand, the new Wildstorm content is easily the weakest material in the book. Interested readers would be far better off hunting down the original DC Universe: The Stories of Alan Moore TPB and saving some cash in the process. Perhaps some day these stories and Moore's Swamp Thing run will receive the truly deluxe hardcovers they deserve. Read Full Review
