In this final issue, another Crisis looms before the collected heroes of the DC Universe with the mood of the people (human and super-human alike) growing more and more bleak! And in the co-feature, all hope seems lost for the DC Universe as the Blue Beetle charges off to confront Max Lord concerning his part in the DCU's dark future!
As I've mentioned in previous reviews, I thought this was a terrific series, although the closer it got to modern times, the weaker my interest in it. So I look forward to the next project from Wein and the array of outstanding artists who have worked on this series, but I'm glad to see we're done here. Read Full Review
With the ending they chose to do, I must admit, if I were asked if this was worth reading, I'm really not sure I'd say yes. It's an imaginary tale, but it's not, but the main character ages inconsistently and knows things he couldn't… I think this story needs some clarity and maybe some better editorial oversight. Oh, well, at least we didn't get to the Superboy Prime reality punches. Read Full Review
