This issue is above all else a fun exercise by two creators who are clearly having a good time with this project. I love the book's slickly produced prestige format and wish Marvel and DC would give more of their short miniseries the same treatment. Too roughly done to command the $6.99 price tag. Though it's a fun premise and Ian seems to have an understanding of the twisted delight that can come from a Lobo adventure, it still needed some more work done on it. I love the format of a bigger book but this one didn't seem to hit enough high marks to leave me feeling like it was money well spent. I'm going to grade this at a D+ and hope that Scott Ian keeps trying his hand at comic books. He's got the right ideas and I'm still curious to see what else he can come up with but he still needs some more work in nailing the finished product. Read Full Review
If this is the best Scott Ian and Sam Keith can do, then two issues is far too long for this series. Maybe as a six-page story in a "Bizarro Comics"-style anthology it would have worked. Because this just doesn't. Read Full Review
