The Trials continue as Freddy finds himself on the inside of a maximum-security prison with only a slim hope of impressing the next Earthbound god whose power he needs to earn. Unfortunately for Freddy, Sabina's on the attack-and she just may completely disrupt this “trial”!

    If you are a Shazam! fan, I guess you should read this, as it is the start of the new character, and somewhere along the way Winick might describe what the rules of magic are. But if not, go buy the much better Jeff Smith book about Shazam. I know I wish I had. Read Full Review

    Trials of Shazam has steadily gone downhill ever since a strong showing on Trials of Shazam #1. Winick has turned in an extremely unimpressive story. Winick's story has been mediocre and his dialogue terribly generic. If you passed on getting this maxi-series then don't worry. You definitely aren't missing anything good. Read Full Review
