As it stands now, the only part of the aforementioned Beowulf sequences I could wrap my head around was the impressive artwork of Aaron Lopresti. I don't know if he's ever drawn Conan or any other sword or sorcery title, but he's right at home in the genre and provides some kinetic sword fights and battle sequences. While the plot is flailing, I still enjoyed this title and would recommend it to just about anyone interested in some good comics. It's not the best, but it's definitely worth checking out and good characterization always trumps plots in my opinion and this book has plenty of great character moments to make up for the story.
