Gabriella's world is turned upside down when she is involved in a nearly fatal bus accident while visiting her late father's hometown in Japan. Barely alive, she undergoes a mysterious procedure that leaves her with cybernetic implants and an additional cybernetic brain called "Harugasumi." To make matters worse her grandmother is forcing her to do "rehabilitation" that strangely resembles ninja training. The next chapter of the Ninja World saga takes place in the near future in the quiet countryside of Japan.
