Aug 12, 2020The focus on Sonja is what drew me to this initially and I got a kick out of her dynamic with Chastity. But once she was removed from the equation the rest of the Chaos characters stepped up and I slowly grew to like them a bit more. I like the cast in general and the big picture concept worked well, though I do think it'd be tighter at four issues instead of six. But we got six gorgeous issues of Jonathan Lau artwork and I'm hard pressed to really complain about that even if the story is structurally far too familiar and straightforward. Though things end in the expected and natural reset to zero, the journey itself was a delight and it shifts Kulan Gath's fate in a new way. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes
Aug 13, 2020I get that heroes and heroines have their arch nemesis. The Spidey has the Green Goblin, Batman has the Joker and Superman has Lex. The problem is that with Sonja, she has Kulan Gath and that's pretty much it. No matter which series you read, at some point, Gath is going to show his amulet. Is it time for Sonja to find a new big bad? Maybe, maybe not; especially if readers are still buying the current status quo. Still, with hints and teases of more Chaos, chances are that Sonja's world is ever expanding in other ways. Read Full Review
